Less Than Four Weeks Remain to See the Blockbuster Exhibition

Denver—December 18, 2012—The Denver Museum of Nature & Science invites visitors to experience A Day in Pompeii before it closes on January 13. More than 100,000 visitors have enjoyed getting an insider's glimpse into the daily life—and tragic end—of this ancient Roman city that was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79.

“It was exquisite, so great that we could not stop talking about it!”

“We’ve been DMNS members for five years and have been to almost all of your major exhibitions, and although it's a case of apples and oranges, we think A Day in Pompeii is your best of the past five years.  And we've been to Pompeii!”

“My boys were so excited about ‘A Day in Pompeii’ that they built a model volcano in their sandbox tonight. Tomorrow, Mt Vesuvius erupts there.”
