THE BRAND-NEW INFINITY THEATER IS NOW OPEN AT THE DENVER MUSEUM OF NATURE & SCIENCE 

Welcome to our larger-than-life Infinity Theater, where you’ll be treated to an exciting, entertaining and unparalleled experience and an infinite number of discoveries await. The theater has had a major facelift. This includes a new lobby entrance with brand new finishings, an impressive new laser projector and sound system, new audio and visual accessibility features, such as a hearing induction loop and updated closed captioning system, enhanced programming, 2D and 3D capabilities and much more.

WHY THE NAME “INFINITY”? 

Infinity is an abstract concept used to describe something that is endless or boundless—a symbol of never ending motion. It is important in mathematics, cosmology, physics, computing and the arts. Infinity is boundless, yet it comes in different sizes. Does space go on and on without end? This remains an open question. The sky is the limit when it comes to bringing people together to spark their curiosity. This theater allows us to use the space in endless ways, such as conferences, private events, performances on stage and infinite possibilities to showcase movies, films, videogames, concerts, live streaming and much more. 

Features include (see D3D Cinema): 

• New lobby entrance finishings (think lush forest) 
• New concessions area 

• New surround sound system 
• New laser projection system  
• New audio and visual accessibility features, such as a multi-channel surround sound, hearing induction loop and updated closed captioning system 
• Enhanced programming: In addition to documentaries, we’ll show Hollywood classic movies, independent movies, livestream concerts and performances, other multimedia shows and have the freedom to use the theater for a variety of other events 
• More sustainable finishings and procedures (examples include eye glass washing equipment and process, LED lighting, energy efficient projection system) 

• The new laser projection system will be able to show both 2D and 3D films.

¡Bienvenido a nuestro Infinity Theater! Un teatro y cine impresionantemente grande donde vivirás una experiencia emocionante y entretenida con una inigualable infinidad de descubrimientos. El teatro se ha sometido a una importante remodelación. Esto incluye un nuevo vestíbulo de entrada con acabados totalmente nuevos, un nuevo e impresionante proyector láser y sistema de sonido, nuevas características de accesibilidad auditiva y visual, como un bucle de inducción auditiva y un sistema actualizado de subtítulos, programación mejorada, capacidades 2D y 3D y mucho más.

¿POR QUÉ EL NOMBRE "INFINITY"?  

Infinity, o infinito, es un concepto abstracto que se utiliza para describir algo que no tiene fin o límites, un símbolo de movimiento interminable. Es importante en matemáticas, cosmología, física, informática y artes. El infinito es ilimitado, pero tiene diferentes tamaños. ¿Acaso el espacio no tiene fin? Sigue siendo una pregunta abierta. El cielo es el límite cuando se trata de reunir a la gente para despertar su curiosidad. Este teatro también nos permitirá utilizar el espacio de innumerables maneras, como para conferencias, eventos privados, actuaciones en el escenario e infinitas posibilidades para proyectar películas, películas, videojuegos, conciertos, retransmisiones en directo y mucho más.  

Entre sus características se incluyen (visita D3D Cinema):  

• Nuevos acabados en la entrada del vestíbulo (piensa en un bosque frondoso)  
• Nueva zona de concesiones  

• Nuevo sistema de sonido envolvente  
• Nuevo sistema de proyección láser   
• Nuevas funciones de accesibilidad sonora y visual, como sonido envolvente multicanal, bucle de inducción auditiva y sistema actualizado de subtítulos.  
• Programación mejorada: Además de documentales, proyectaremos películas clásicas de Hollywood, cine independiente, conciertos y actuaciones en directo, otros espectáculos multimedia y tendremos libertad para utilizar el teatro para otros eventos diversos  
• Acabados y procedimientos más sostenibles (algunos ejemplos son el equipo y el proceso de lavado de los cristales de los ojos, la iluminación LED y el sistema de proyección de bajo consumo).  

• El nuevo sistema de proyección láser podrá proyectar películas tanto en 2D como en 3D.
