Denver Museum of Nature & Science Offers Halloween Family Fun

Live Bats, Hallow-Teen, and discounts for costumed visitors

DENVER-October 12, 2012- The Denver Museum of Nature & Science invites the community to celebrate Halloween at the Museum. With the program Live Bats, a Halloween bash just for teens, and a discount to A Day in Pompeii for wearing a costume, the Museum is offering something festive for the entire family.

Wear a Costume for a Discount

Wear your Halloween costume to the Museum October 22 through October 31 and receive $6 off your full-price nonmember ticket to A Day in Pompeii!

Live Bats!

Saturday, October 20, noon and 2 p.m.,$12 member, $15 nonmember, $8 child

Live Bats returns to Denver! Rob Mies, director of the Organization for Bat Conservation, introduces you to an international delegation of some of the rarest bats in the world, including a gigantic flying fox bat from Malaysia with a nearly six-foot wingspan. This is a family program where you can join the kids in unbridled enthusiasm. Costumes welcomed!

Hallow-teen Night at the Museum

Friday, October 26, 6-9:30 p.m., $5

Teens assemble! This spooky and fun night is brand new and just for you! Meet mad scientists, tremble through frightful scavenger hunts and Museum tours, eat some creepy snacks, and dress in your Halloween best. Bring a friend! For ages 13-18. Reservations required.
